An amateur actor, Maxence is 40 years old, still lives with his grandmother, and works as a temp in a ham factory. But he has a dream: he will become an actor in a major film! To get there, he starts out as an extra, hoping to be “spotted.” But, as his mentor Sergio - a fellow extra hired “for his looks” and an aspiring director - likes to say, in order to climb the ladder of the film industry, you have to force destiny.
