Synopsis

Memo is a Kurdish immigrant living with his wife in a basement. To avoid eviction from Belgium Memo remains secluded down there peeping on passers-by through the only window in the room.

Through this dance of never ending feet in front of his window Memo is witness to stories and daily dramas without having the opportunity to take a stand.

The films in this pro­gramme all take an enlight­ened look at migra­tion issues, when dis­place­ment is at the heart of identity.
