Synopsis
Winter 1408. The High-Fens. After escaping the grip of the vicious lord Evrard, Hermine dresses her daughter Jeanne as a boy to prevent her persecutors from recognizing her. Exhausted and without any resources, the mother and her daughter find Brandin, a looter put in the pillory who promises to help them in exchange for his freedom.
